Ubuntu Bam

"Ubuntu bam" is about embracing and celebrating the rich cultural heritage we share as South Africans—recognising that it’s our differences that unite us and shape who we are as a people. I’ve expressed this through the image of a Xhosa woman smoking a traditional pipe, known as “umbheka phesheya”—a symbol of wisdom, identity, and quiet strength.
